QANTAS SFT2 Customer Communications

Dear Firstname,

Qantas SFT2 went officially live on the 13th August following extensive trials with selected forwarders. Qantas aim to move up to 90 breakdown units a day through the terminal and will be operating it seven day a week from now.

AFIF and the CBFCA have had extensive discussions with Qantas and believe every effort has been made to ensure the whole terminal works efficiently.

Attached please find the latest Qantas brief which covers all aspects of how the terminal will operate as well as OH&S issues. Please ensure all interested parties in your organisations are aware. We would welcome any feedback members may have in regards to the operation of the new terminal.

Finally AFIF would like to acknowledge the work of Daniel Andersen and his staff at DHL who have been involved in the trial and discussions from the beginning.

Paul Golland National Airfreight Director.
