Conclusion of Neutron Scanner Trial in Brisbane
Dear Firstname,Further to previous correspondence and updates on this matter,the lengthy trial of the joint Customs / CSIRO Neutron Scanner in Brisbane has been concluded.
Customs believe that the trial has been a success in evaluating the various business and logistics issues in operating such a facility. In addition, there is sufficient encouragementfor CSIRO to seek commercial expressions of interest with a view to developing a 'Mark II' version.
Please refer to the attached notice from Customs which confirms the end of this trial and plans for the future.
