New Security Procedures for Korean Air Import Deliveries
We have been advised that Korean Airlines have implemented a world wide procedure to protect against unauthorised collection of import cargo.
Korean Airlines has asked Australian Air Express, as their handling agent, to require all drivers to produce a form of photographic ID which AAE will record on the delivery check list. The ID can be an industry card, ASIC card or a driver's license. This procedure will need to be completed prior to the commencement of delivery of the cargo.
Please ensure that all relevant persons are advised of this new procedure which will be effective from Monday, January 22nd.
