Have you distributed the Workplace Relations Fact Sheet to
your employees yet?
From 20 July 2007 employers covered by the Workplace Relations Act 1996
(Cth) are required to provide a copy of a
"Workplace Relations Fact Sheet" to all
employees.
New employees from 20 July 2007 must receive a copy of the Fact Sheet within 7 days of commencing as an employee.
Existing employees as at 20 July 2007 must receive a copy of the Fact Sheet before 20 October 2007.
Employers face a fine of up to $110 for each employee who does not receive the Fact Sheet within the above time frames.
Employers can distribute the Fact Sheet to existing employees in a number of ways, including:
